Rotary Local Turns the Wheel at Tanque Verde High

Photographer Gary Rumak, Art Teacher Emily Dobson, and Local Farmer and businessman Rocky Ferrell pose together in the art room at Tanque High School. Local Business Owner Tim McMahon partnered with Rincon Rotary to get these art supplies. Mr McMahon donated the wheel and Rincon Rotary came in with a $500 grant to help buy more needed supplies for her classroom.

Rincon Rotary's support is part of its Rotary Local Program, whose mission is to help improve the local community through educational outreach. Rotary Local can provide manpower, resources from local business partners, or in some cases, direct financial support to teachers who apply for assistance.
