Rincon Rotarian Dr. David Davenport delivers skull specimens to Cienega High School science teacher Joshua Farr.
Cienega High School science teacher Joshua Farr asked for replica skulls so students could gain "a deeper understanding of comparative anatomy & evolutionary studies in their Biology, Ecology, Landscape, and Environmental Science classes." The Rincon Rotary supported this proposal, which can be used year after year to benefit hundreds of students, through it's Rotary LOCAL program.
Rincon Rotary's support is part of its Rotary LOCAL program, whose mission is to help improve the local community through educational outreach. Rotary Local can provide manpower, resources from local business partners, or in some cases, direct financial support to teachers who apply for assistance.
