Rincon Rotary helps young readers Bloom.

Bloom Elementary librarian Jessica Carver asked the Rincon Rotary for books and CD's to augment the school's listening centers. These tools allow students to listen to stories independently, without interruption, building stronger reading skills in the process. This request fit perfectly within the Rincon Rotary's focus on educational issues and was enthusiastically supported.

The Rotary LOCAL Program's mission is to help improve the local community through educational outreach. Rotary LOCAL can provide manpower, resources from local business partners, or in some cases, direct financial support to teachers who apply for assistance.
