Rincon Rotary Helps Students Love to Read at Pueblo Gardens

Rotarians John Lee, Max Crowell, Gloria Zlaket and Dr. Bill Becker deliver books requested by Pueblo Gardens teacher Francisca Maldonado.

Mrs. Maldonado wanted to build a love of reading with her students. Rincon Rotary was thrilled to help. Rotary LOCAL believes that educators know what will help students thrive and flourish, and that filling some small needs makes a big difference. Bookman's on Speedway and Wilmot partnered with our program to help procure the requested books.

Rincon Rotary's support is part of its Rotary Local Program, whose mission is to help improve the local community through educational outreach. Rotary Local can provide manpower, resources from local business partners, or in some cases, direct financial support to teachers who apply for assistance.
