The Rincon Rotary Helps Kellond Community School Clean Up.

James Mandolini of the Rincon Rotary delivers a vacuum cleaner to The Kellond Community School's lead instructor of the Before and After School Enrichment Program, Linda Musa and Community Education Coordinator, Stephanie Freeman. In keeping with the LOCAL theme, the vacuum was purchased from a local Tucson business, Cathey's Sewing & Vacuum.

The Kellond Community School offers a before & after school enrichment program that serves children in a caring, safe, attentive environment.  Activities include outdoor play, reading, art projects, dramatic play, computers, sports, games, nutrition education, science, cooking, puppetry, singing, and music and movement.

Rincon Rotary's support is part of its Rotary Local Program, whose mission is to help improve the local community through educational outreach. Rotary Local can provide manpower, resources from local business partners, or in some cases, direct financial support to teachers who apply for assistance.
