Ms. Huetter's class at Tucson Country Day School accepts the donation of microscopes from Rincon Rotaians Stuart Katz and Barry Blonder.

Tucson Country Day school asked the Rincon Rotary for three digital microscopes to be used across multiple grade levels in the study of various scientific concepts, such as the biological comparison of animal versus plant cells. The Rincon Rotary fufilled the request through the Rotary LOCAL program.

The Rotary LOCAL Program's mission is to help improve the local community through educational outreach. Rotary LOCAL can provide manpower, resources from local business partners, or in some cases, direct financial support to teachers who apply for assistance.
