Rincon Rotary coordinates Berman Family donation of Skeleton to Palo Verde High School Biology class.

When the Rincon Rotary recieved a request to help fund a human skeleton for Patricia Wheeler's biology classroom at Palo Verde High, it took Rotary LOCAL Chair James Mandolini about 10 minutes to fill it. There just happened to be a skeleton in his office which had belonged to the late Dr. Philip Berman. After clearing the donation with Dr. Berman's widow, Judy Berman, The Rincon Rotary and Ms. Berman delivered the Skeleton and gave a talk to the class about Dr Berman's legacy in both business and medicine. See a video summary of the presentation here:

The Rotary LOCAL Program's mission is to help improve the local community through educational outreach. Rotary LOCAL can provide manpower, resources from local business partners, or in some cases, direct financial support to teachers who apply for assistance.
